Exploring Nepal Vlog
The journey documented in these videos was organised by the Italian tour operator Avventure nel Mondo, as part of the itinerary Tutto Nepal (19 Apr – 04 May 2025), led by coordinator Alessio Maragno, with myself in the role of treasurer (cassiere).
Avventure nel Mondo is much more than a travel agency — it’s a vibrant community of curious, independent travellers who believe that the true essence of a journey lies in cultural immersion, adaptability, and shared experiences. Their philosophy encourages travellers to step off the beaten path and co-create an adventure that’s as unpredictable as it is unforgettable.
This post is dedicated to the three travel videos I created during the trip, complementing the previously published blog posts about the experience. Let’s get this out of the way: I am not Stanley Kubrick. These videos have no dolly tracks, perfectly lit shots, or symmetrical corridors. Instead, you’ll find a bit of dust on the lens, shaky altitude-breathing, and the occasional accidental close-up of my confusion. But perhaps that’s part of the charm.
These three short films are my humble attempt to stitch together a memory of a journey that was equal parts pilgrimage, uphill battle, and joyful disorientation. From the sacred chaos of Kathmandu, to the lung-busting trails of the Annapurna foothills, and finally to the quiet grace of forgotten villages and Buddhist monasteries, this was a trip where the soul wandered just as much as the feet.
So press play, forgive the amateurism, and come along for a ride through Nepal’s dust, colour, and quiet awe.
